For over 20 years, our bay has been a go-to destination for world champion kitesurfers, thanks to its perfect blend of shallow lagoons, rolling waves, and steady winds. Whether you're here to catch your first ride or master new tricks, there’s no better place to harness the power of the wind and waves.

From our surf school, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Isle of Man to the west and the dramatic peaks of the Lake District to the north. Our story

Earnse Bay’s kitesurfing legacy began in 2005 with Gary Powell, and in 2019, former Senior BKSA Instructor Chris Ainsbury took the reins, launching Earnse Bay Kitesurfing to continue the tradition. Today, we’re proud to partner with the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) to provide top-quality lessons for all levels, from total beginners to aspiring pros. Our mission is simple: to share our love of kitesurfing and inspire the next generation of riders.
